The Arundel Wood is the perfect choice for owners who simply prefer to fuel their stoves with wood. This dedicated Woodburner ensures long lasting clean burn periods converting the energy from natural wood logs to comfortable and controllable heat. Portway Wood stoves produce considerably less ash than multifuel models resulting in highly efficient wood burning with less waste to remove. With the 2022 EU Clean Stove Standard, this stove is rated Energy Class A+.  Hardwood is a perfect fuel for wood burning stoves and include varieties such as Ash, Birch, Maple and Oak, also wood from a wide range of fruit trees. Hardwood logs are renowned for burning for longer periods, while generating a good amount of heat. To achieve the cleanest burn time with maximum efficiency performance we recommend burning kiln dried natural hard wood logs. Dry firewood or seasoned wood fuel is made up of dry logs that are ready to burn due to having been stored for at least six months or dried in the open air.
