We have recently started working with the furniture design specialists Christopher Leslie Bespoke . They have been working on a number of projects that incorporate a large electric feature fire and have come to us to solve the fire requirements of their project. This is the first project they have completed incorporating a fireplace. Take a look at the mood board which they created following the customer briefing requirements, the CAD drawing and below you will see the finished results.

Customer Brief

• Corner unit to house a 55″ TV, sound bar, DVD player and Sky box.
• Feature space for a large built in electric fire.
• Include the new radiator in the design.
• Wall storage for books and include lighting in the shelving.
• Keep to a neutral colour palette and make the design cat friendly.

The final design included the SLE100 from Solution Fires and was designed to be exposed on dual sides to keep the unit fluid with the design.  The design features a removable radiator cover to allow for easy clean-up of dust and cat hair, a bookcase, display shelving with lighting and floating drawers with lighting below. The installation also incorporates individual slats behind the TV in the shape of an arrow to draw your eye naturally to the screen. All the electronics were hidden behind the tv to keep a clean and minimal look and allow for possible upgrades in the future.

The final result is a beautiful piece that complements their view and decor.  We are looking forward to sharing the other projects in the pipeline – watch this space.
