Description
The Cast Tec Electra Suite consists of a cast aluminium fireplace, an electric fire inset and a honed black granite hearth. The fireplace comes with a 1030mm (41″) shelf attached and there are two different cast-iron designs (the Royal & Ashbourne) with six different finish options including matt black, highlight polished and half polish. Our castings are manufactured specifically to suit our dedicated slim line Electraflame 3D electric fire. The unique selling point for CastTec 3D Electric fires is the fact that the whole appliance can be housed inside a standard 75mm (3”) rebated mantelpiece. This means that the complete fireplace can be installed against any suitable flat wall and there is no need to require a traditional chimney breast. In addition to this, fitting is basically a plug and play, although you may require a qualified engineer to provide a local socket or spur during installation. As well as a realistic flame effect, the Electraflame 3D Inset Engine has the option of a 1.5 kW fan-assisted heater, however, in the summer months you may opt to use the attractive flame effect only. Manual controls are cleverly positioned just behind the cast-iron canopy so that they are not too prominent but can be easily accessed without too much bending over. A remote-control option is also available if needed. Marble mantelpieces may need to be installed securely by a qualified engineer. A major advantage of the Electra Suite is that it fits against any normal flat wall and requires only the skirting board to be removed. The fireplace itself is 1030mm (41″) high and sits on a 50mm (2″) high hearth. The solid granite hearth has a honed (matt) finish but it is also available in a highly polished black finish. Hearths measure 1050mm (42″) x 380mm (15″) as standard but can be manufactured in a bespoke fashion by request.
